Overview

The Rehancement Group, Inc., is a professional services and consulting firm committed to our Government customers. We provide highly qualified professionals to support the mission of our clients.  We are currently seeking a Visual Information Specialist to join our TRG team in Washington, D.C. supporting the DOJ. This position requires a fully adjudicated and current TOP SECRET clearance and be able to pass a CI POLYGRAPH examination and obtain Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI).

Responsibilities

  • Support technical management of content, quality, design and style of the Branch SharePoint websites, to include planning, design, development, testing, publication, and implementation of all content to ensure sites are functioning properly and reflect current, accurate, and appropriate information
  • Independently produce graphics using state-of-the-art computer imaging systems to depict broad, complex, and sensitive themes for executive-level and government audiences and write content for a variety of presentation materials containing original visual presentations.
  • Creates, maintains, and proactively updates graphics and written content for SharePoint sites to include modifying site permissions, managing lists and document libraries, and overseeing migrations of new SharePoint versions
  • Independently research, conceptualize, and coordinate visual solutions, layout and design for various formats of communication materials and directly interface with staff writers and graphic production personnel
  • Plan and organize special projects for the Branch, often involving unusual designs and rigid time constraints
  • Serve as consultant and technical advisor in all areas of desktop publishing and graphic art production; recommend solutions regarding challenges in layout and photography
  • Consult with authors-and editors to recommend visually enhancing modifications to publications
  • Use standards found in the U.S. Department of Justice Graphic Standards Manual, or those issued by the Joint Committee on Printing Standards, and other federal guidelines and policies

Qualifications

  • B.S., in design, fine arts, or other related fields
  • Minimum 4 years of experience producing graphic design and content writing for executive-level audiences
  • Experience with SharePoint 2013 and technical management of internal sites
  • Experience receiving a written product and repackaging into a visual product
  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (lnDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) and MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
  • Demonstrated ability to self-start and take initiative with minimal support or guidance
  • Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Excellent organizational abilities
  • Graphics and/or writing samples required
