We provide highly qualified professionals to support the mission of our clients.  We are currently seeking a Financial Analyst to join our TRG team in Washington, D.C. supporting the DOJ. This position requires a fully adjudicated and current TOP SECRET clearance and be able to pass a CI POLYGRAPH examination and obtain Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI).


  • Support all phases of the federal budget planning, formulation, and execution cycles
  • Monitor execution levels (NIP and non-NIP), provide data validation, support funding adjustments when necessary, and provide recommendations for corrective actions
  • Support responses to external agency requests for information (RFIs)
  • Analyze financial management issues and provide recommendations by applying an understanding of operational requirements in relation to organizational objectives
  • Independently develop routine and ad hoc financial reports, charts, and templates using MS Excel worksheets and pivot table functionalities, SharePoint, MS Access data from government enterprise data systems for audiences with varying levels of financial expertise
  • Use keen attention to detail and strong writing skills to produce financial reports, budget summaries, and /or summary documents within short deadlines for executive-level audiences
  • Complete requisition packages for the purpose of issuing contracts or exercising options on existing task orders
  • Resolve invoice payment issues to ensure proper expenditure of funds in accounting systems
  • Review financial coding structure to interpret and articulate relationships between codes to properly reflect the organization structure
  • Attend meetings and draft notes of meeting topics, issues, outcomes, and follow-up actions
  • Brief various government audiences using good communication and interpersonal skills


  • Bachelor degree in finance, accounting, or a related field, Master’s degree preferred
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in federal government leading and/or coordinating multiple, complex projects with competing deadlines
  • 3 years of experience at a headquarters and/or executive-level
  • Knowledge or experience with government accounting principles and fiscal law funds proprietary practices
  • Experience researching and analyzing financial data, written/verbal information, and programmatic outcomes to assess risks, formulate recommendations, and present written financial analysis and data
  • Experience writing and producing resource-focused reports, summary papers, persuasive position papers, and/or briefs containing written financial analyses, textual justifications, and financial graphics describing fiscal performance related to operational outcomes
  • Experience developing and writing organizational performance measures related to resource allocations and supporting collection and reporting of financial metrics
  • Experience creating and/or using MS Excel spreadsheets and pivot tables, PowerPoint presentations and demonstrative graphics, Word documents, and SharePoint lists and workflow tools, high proficiency creating and using MS Excel pivot tables preferred
  • Ability to successfully work at an Executive Staff-level
  • Knowledge of and/or experience using federal financial management systems, management and accounting platforms, and/or resource-related databases.
  • Knowledge of invoicing procedures and government funds accountability
  • Writing sample required
